Description
The Kindergarten curriculum reinforces age appropriate learning skills in the academic subjects of reading, math, the science of color, and problem solving. It provides for development of fine motor skills; It relates to the “other arts.”The student is introduced to different art “tools” and has the opportunity to explore media, learn to see, think, analyze and be creative at the same time, producing well designed, well executed works of art.The student will learn the vocabulary of the art world and will be able to use this in spoken language as well on 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional surfaces.Lastly, the student will acquire a sense of “pride of place” through their art work.
