Become an Academic Reviewer

  • Share your expertise in support of this worthy effort to develop a knowledge base for teaching in every subject, grade level and curriculum choice.
  • Although not a requirement, many Teaching Point Review Boards are comprised of mentoring teachers, AP, IB or IG exam readers, workshop leaders, professional development specialists or National Board Certified Teachers.
  • Your experience and knowledge be applied in the review process for the benefit of other educators with new assignments.
  • You should have an undergraduate Major in the subject of your review, a Master’s Degree in any one of a variety of education topics (curriculum and instructional design, educational administration) or, preferably, a graduate major in the subject of your review.
  • You should be currently teaching the subject you will write, have taught it for a minimum of the most recent 5 years, and be teaching it in the coming or current school year.
  • You should have better than functional knowledge of computer word processing, specifically MS Word.
  • You should have an undergraduate Major in the subject of your review, a Master’s Degree in any one of a variety of education topics (curriculum and instructional design, educational administration) or, preferably, a Graduate Major in the subject of your review.
  • You should be currently teaching the subject you will review, have taught it for a minimum of the most recent 5 years, and be teaching it in the coming or current school year.
