Description
Like the English Level 3 text by the same author, this program is geared toward the upper middle school or high school English student, with a focus on American literature. Unlike the English 3 text, the English 3 Honors text is designed to be used as a supplement or stand alone text for your honors course. This course is writing intensive, with the students working not only to master the basic concepts of American literature, but to go more indepth in the study of specific authors. This course is also reading intensive, with students completing 8 major novels in the span of the course. This course may be modified for courses on a semester program as opposed to attending the class for one year. This course is also designed, like the English 3 course, to prepare students for state and national exams.
