Description
Interior Design is a course that will study the periods of architecture and interiors, and the historical development of the home and city. Chapters will take students through the elements and principles of design, color theory, furniture styles, furniture layout traffic patterns, and more. The student workbook includes worksheets and graphic organizers. The teacher’s workbook includes suggestions for videos, textbooks and supplies for the classroom. The course includes several projects such as Design Your Dream House, Color Schemes and Values, and a Client Project. Designed for high school students in grades 9 – 12, the course is aligned to state standards in California and Texas.
