The IB Middle Years Programme or MYP is designed as a five year course of study, typically grades 6-10. This is volume 2 of 2 covering years 4-5. Volume 1 covers years 1-3. Each of the eight subject areas must be taught a minimum of 50 hours per school year. Each year of these materials has 50 lessons. Technology is one of the eight subject areas. Each year of the programme has 3 projects with each covering one of the ‘branches’ of technology. These branches are Materials, Information and Systems. Each of the three branches must be covered in each year of the Middle Years Programme.  The table of contents for each year is posted below the following course descriptions.

The printed or eBook teacher’s edition includes syllabus, pacing guide, detailed daily lesson plans, editable class notes (in PowerPoint form), complete student activity book and editable assessments. Lessons include class notes for lecture support, activities and assignments are designed to engage students in the content while introducing and reviewing essential skills.
