Description
Rocky coasts are unique marine ecosystems. Tides carve out the environment in response to the rotation and revolution of the planet and other geographical features. Students will use and graph tide tables to see how tidal speed occurs. Crustaceans and Echinoderms are the featured marine life. This unit has one of my favorite labs – Sea Urchin Embryology – and the students love it.
