Description
In a lab, students will group sediments by composition to see the various characteristics and to explain how these sediments determine the proliferation of life. Glow sticks serve as a model for a lab on Bioluminescence. New discoveries of marine life and chemosynthesis help students to understand the changing nature of science. They will be exposed to a variety of examples of Mollusks by producing a student shell collection. There is a fun Shello game in my free sample. This energetic unit should involve students in the learning process as they learn the names of common shells and see images of creatures most of them have never seen before.
