Description
Students will uncover the complex components in the development and healthy maintenance of coral reef ecosystems. They will specifically identify examples of sponges, corals, and reef fish. Through dissection, students will collect information about the internal anatomy of a fish and relate these forms to the fish’s niche on a reef. The cook-out and coloring provide valuable memories that science is fun and may stimulate positive life-long love for fish and the ocean.
