This Pre-Algebra course uses advanced topics to review basic concepts. Multiplication is shown as repeated addition and exponentiation is introduced as repeated multiplication. Volume One covers basic skills needed to prepare for Algebra and Volume Two covers linear equations and the coordinate plane. Variables and beginning algebraic concepts are used throughout the course. Each volume, includes detailed daily lessons paced to cover one traditional semester. However, in schools where this course is spread over 2 years, a slower pace can be implemented so that each volume could represent a full school year.
