Designed for the student who has had no previous keyboarding experience, this course may be taught on the junior high level (7th or 8th grade) or in the early high school years. Keyboarding is a skill that everyone needs. It is also important to provide an assortment of activities that involve typing to maintain student interest. Keyboarding courses begin with instruction on typing by touch and this course is no exception. However, this course also includes numerous ideas to add spice and variety throughout the semester.
